This is my journey of collecting kin!

I've always been curious about family history. But research on my dad's line didn't bear fruit until 2011.

I stopped seeking answers from my dad & uncle & sought out family from their hometown instead. I quickly met family (including 1st & 2nd cousins). Some of whom had been doing family research since the 1980's.

My enthusiasm at being connected reinvigorated their research. We found more cousins, started a facebook group & began monthly family conf calls. Despite the new connections we still had a brick wall on our great grandparent's lines. So we decided to try ancestry DNA testing.

The brick walls have tumbled down & I've connected with more people than I can count (more close relatives, in-laws, & even other fascinating people also seeking answers).
